# LifePot > LifePot is an open-source artificial-life game and educational experiment. Describe a world and fitness priorities, then explore a cellular ecosystem in a deterministic 50×50 simulation. Jev proposes typed ecology choices; LifePot validates them; deterministic code executes them. Replaying a challenge uses its recorded choices and makes no model call. ## Play and inspect - [Play LifePot](https://lifepot.modepot.io/): create and replay an artificial-life world. - [Player guide](https://lifepot.modepot.io/learn/player-guide): learn setup vocabulary, controls, observation, outcomes, and replay limits. - [Developer reference](https://lifepot.modepot.io/learn/developer-reference): exact schemas, rule graph, engine ownership, decision ledger, replay validation, and deployment boundaries. - [Agent guide Markdown](https://lifepot.modepot.io/learn/developer-reference/markdown): canonical downloadable developer guide. - [Agent documentation index](https://lifepot.modepot.io/learn): page map for humans and coding agents; canonical guides can be read online or downloaded as Markdown. - [Source repository](https://github.com/tugrulguner/lifepot): application code, deterministic simulation rules, tests, and deployment configuration. - [Sitemap](https://lifepot.modepot.io/sitemap.xml): public crawlable routes. - [Robots policy](https://lifepot.modepot.io/robots.txt): crawler access policy. - [ModePot](https://modepot.io/): return to the open-source project family. ## Architecture and boundaries - The world is a deterministic 50×50 cellular simulation after the initial choices are accepted. - Model output is typed data, never executable code. - LifePot validates proposed choices before the simulation runs. - Replays use recorded choices and make no model call. - LifePot is a game and educational toy, not a biological forecast. - There is no installable package or supported public API. `/api/judge` is an internal application endpoint; the supported user interface is the hosted web game. - License: MIT.
